Contractors & Consultants
For the design and construction of the Hudson Transmission Project, HTP engaged a consortium of two highly experienced and qualified international companies, Siemens Power Transmission and Distribution and Prysmian Cables and Systems. A similar consortium of Siemens and Prysmian was engaged for the design and construction of the Neptune Project, which was completed ahead of schedule and on budget and has an excellent performance record since beginning operation in June 2007. The consortium performed the work under an Engineering-Procurement-Construction (“EPC”) contract under which the consortium was responsible for engaging all subcontractors necessary to accomplish the job.
